Through a process of constant monitoring and evaluation, KT Cables continues to grow and expand its operations – not only as a supplier but also in offering customised solutions for Companies requiring fastening and terminal products. HistoryKT Cables commenced operations in 1994 from a small factory in Tweed Heads with a dedicated team servicing the Gold Coast region. By the year 2000, the company had commenced manufacturing offshore and extended its operations to adjacent buildings. The following year saw the first exports to New Zealand. KT Cables were recognised with a number of prestigious awards in the following years and marked its 10th anniversary by winning the Australian Customer Service Award and gaining the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Accreditation. In 2005, the Company moved to a state-of-the-art facility at Ormeau and launched a website and online catalogue. This was continued in the following year by the release of a full colour print catalogue and the launch of the world’s first LED Trailer Plug. Since that time KT Cables has continued to expand and grow and is now a dominant player in the marketplace. Future DirectionsFrom its humble beginnings, KT Cables has become the trusted supplier to literally thousands of customers across Australia, New Zealand and even further afield.
